A man's ambition should never exceed his worth
don't hate on nobody and don't wait on nobody
where do I begin to tell this tale
these days love is easy to find
but difficult to hold
are you really for me or for your gains
let's go back to the basics
to the roots were our origin is born
torn between a life of rage and peace
with no idea of when the strife will cease
for this anxiety brings about a friction
I need more hope to act as a grease
as I glide through these wavy maze
afterall I've been made to know that
melancholy is the happiness of being sad
a paradox that in our depths, we often find,
so in the quiet acceptance of life's intricate design
do not harbor hate, don't tarry in vain,
begin the tale anew, and let compassion reign.
