Today was an amazing weekend day! It’s the kind of weekend day that I always plan out...but something usually goes wrong.
Today however, it went as planned!
I woke up after my sweet hubby let me sleep in until 10! Boy, was I in desperate need for sleep! If you’ve read some of my previous posts...you know my two year old is quite the handful at bedtime. Last night was no exception...so i definitely appreciated the extra hours to snooze this morning!
When I do awaken, my Husband went to our favorite bagel shop and got me a delicious smoked salmon and cream cheese breakfast sanwhich! It is my absolute fav!
After breakfast...we got ready headed down to the beach! It was our first family beach day of the season.
Honestly...it couldn’t have gone better!
Last year, we pretty much avoided taking the kids to the beach. We had been a couple of times the previous year and it was so much more trouble than fun.
This year, the kids are the perfect ages! They enjoyed themselves! We played with them of course, but they also entertained themselves enough for the time to be both enjoyable and relaxing!
My good friend met us there as well...and we spent a few hours!
We came home just in time for afternoon naps!
When we woke up, we got ready for a delightful dinner out with the family.
We went to a hibachi steak house! Yum!
We’re ending the evening with a nice movie and some comfy pjs (at the house!)
I can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store!
