‎Hello Hives,

‎There are some people who have hurt me in ways I still remember. Maybe not because I want to hold a grudge, but because some experiences are not easy to forget.

‎When someone lies to you, betrays your trust, disrespects you, or treats your kindness like weakness, it can really change the way you look at people. At that moment, you might find yourself wishing they could feel exactly what they made you feel.

‎But honestly, I don't want revenge.

‎I don't want to spend my days waiting for something bad to happen to someone just because they hurt me. Life is already stressful enough without carrying that kind of anger around.

‎What I sometimes wish for is much simpler.

‎I wish they would one day meet someone who treats them exactly the way they treated me. Not because I want them to suffer, but because maybe then they will finally understand.

‎Maybe they will know what it feels like to give someone your trust and have it thrown back in your face. Maybe they will understand what it feels like to always be there for someone and then realize that the same person would not do half as much for you.

‎Sometimes, people don't realize the damage they cause until they experience something similar themselves.

‎And that is why I like the idea of a reality check.

‎You can explain to someone a hundred times that what they did was wrong, but sometimes your words won't mean much to them. Then life puts them in the same situation, and suddenly everything becomes clear.

‎Still, I don't want to be around when that lesson comes.

‎By then, I hope I have already moved on.

‎I have reached a point where peace means more to me than revenge. I don't need an apology to continue with my life. I don't need to see someone suffer before I can be happy again.

‎People will do what they want to do. Some will appreciate you, while others will take advantage of your kindness. That's life.

‎The important thing is learning when to stop giving people access to you.

‎So, to anyone who has wronged me, I don't wish you bad luck. I don't wish you pain.

‎I simply hope that one day, you meet someone who treats you the way you treated me.

‎Maybe that experience will give you the reality check I never could.

‎And by then, hopefully, I will be too busy living my own life to care.
