There are multiple times when one would simply not like to go out and explore for various reasons, inability, dilly-dally and laziness and silly excuses being first and foremost. This is so obvious.

There are several such stances when you would feel that you don't want to explore or participate just because you don't feel like doing it, no compulsions though, but no means no, and you would love to stick to it for all odd reasons. Even if they sound stupid.

No matter how hard you try to push your mind, for something to be done or anything in particular, but there are times, it won't budge. I know it's such a state of stalemate but that's it and you would find tens and hundreds of reasons for not doing it.

Today, I realise, despite working for decades, (no qualms though) how your job or work, pushed you everyday to achieve daily goals. Back then, I would long for relaxation time and personal space for myself and those million things that were lined up, waiting for my time, to get them done at the earliest possible, but rushing to job, had it's own particular traits, but yes, your job or work no doubt pushes you to endear yourself for a reason or a purpose. Though after retirement everything finally settles down to calming comfort zone, for real.

With the advent of technology and hybrid or remote work and more working options, the course of offline office job has significantly changed and so is the habits of newer generations. They would never ever get to understand the daily rush of the 9 to 5 office job, where you have to be in office by 9, every single day. Times have changed and will continue to change with newer perspectives coming in to take over. It has to be that way.

However, when it comes to your own health even the minutest issue becomes major and needs immediate attention you just can't avoid it or would even prefer to delay it so that it does not complicate, plenty of apprehensions though. (I am not counting the bravehearts, who dare any situation, they are exceptional cases.)

You would quickly rush to get the treatment done as soon as possible and get rid of the problem because your mind is dictating terms and telling you strongly to get it done, get it done, get it done, in the repeat mode and that it's really a priority issue.

So, long while ago, I had some dental issue which needed immediate attention, I had booked an appointment with dentist and I was scheduled to meet my dentist to get my dental issue treated at the earliest possible. So I had to go to Birmingham to get that treatment done. My younger brother accompanied to me to Birmingham since he had to buy something for his girlfriend. I was so panicked about the appointment and meeting the dentist on time and hoping the treatment goes well. My brother was a real support and calming me down with all possible positive assurances.

While I was with a dentist and getting the treatment done, my brother went ahead for shopping, to catch up after the treatment.

While my treatment went perfectly fine and I had asked my dentist if I could enjoy a cup of coffee after the treatment upon his recommendation and after waiting for around 45 minutes or so, I was allowed to go ahead and have a cup of hot coffee and my brother accompanied me for that.

He ordered pancakes with hot coffee it was wonderful to enjoy hot cup of coffee. So he took my picture while I was looking into the menu, kept aside vertically on the table (the flower side) and being a pretty bright sunny day, I was little more curious to read the menu with little extra effort when he took the picture, when I saw it, I was amused.

After that we roamed for a while in an around few market areas in the Birmingham and then we decided to go back home after doing some grocery shopping.

In real life there are several such stances where your mind dictates terms, even without letting you know and you abide by it and this is actually a big barrier to have complete control over your own mind and thoughts, some or rather many easily give up and some fight back and get to have a complete control over it with due diligence. Such is the reality of life.

Thanks for reading.
