‎Hello Hives,
‎
‎One thing life is gradually teaching me is that not everyone we love will love us the same way we do to them, and not everyone we care about will care about us as much as we care about them. It is a painful truth, but the earlier we understand it, the better it becomes for our peace of mind.
‎

‎Sometimes, we give people so much attention that we forget to ask ourselves whether we are receiving the same energy in return. We check up on them, make time for them, ask how they are doing, and try our best to make them feel important. But when it is our turn to receive that same care, we are met with silence or excuses.
‎
‎Honestly, moments like these can hurt. You may start wondering whether you did something wrong or whether you are not good enough. You might even find yourself trying harder to get the attention of someone who has already shown you that they are no longer interested in making an effort.
‎
‎But I believe there comes a time when we need to pause and ask ourselves an important question: Why am I trying so hard to keep someone who is comfortable with losing me?
‎
‎We need to understand that love, friendship, and genuine relationships should not always feel like a competition where we have to prove that we deserve a place in someone's life. Yes, relationships require effort, patience, and understanding, but that effort should not come from just one person all the time.
‎
‎Learning to let go does not mean you hate someone. It simply means you have accepted that you cannot force people to feel what they do not feel. Sometimes, you have to stop reaching out, stop explaining yourself, and allow people to make their own choices.
‎
‎Another thing I have come to understand is that your worth does not decrease because someone fails to recognize it. You don't have to convince everybody to appreciate you. The people who genuinely value your presence will not always leave you wondering where you stand in their lives.
‎
‎Of course, letting go is not always easy, especially when you have shared beautiful memories with someone. But holding on to a relationship that constantly takes away your peace can hurt you even more.
‎
‎At the end of the day, I believe losing some people is part of growing up. Not everyone is meant to stay in our lives forever, and that is okay.
‎
‎Never beg for attention, never force yourself into someone's life, and never abandon yourself just to make someone else stay.
‎
‎Choose your peace. Value yourself. Love people genuinely, but remember to love yourself too.
‎
‎Sometimes, the best decision you can make is to quietly walk away and give yourself the chance to find the happiness you deserve.
