Blogging Challenge - Part 02 - Day 19
Self-limiting beliefs.
Self-limiting beliefs are the perceptions we have of ourselves, about the way the world works or we get along with others. These are "self-limiting" because they somehow prevent you from achieving what you are capable of doing and are ultimately in your mind, not necessarily so.
I have had many, but i feel i have overcome some of them, and others i am on my way to achieving.
"I don't have enough experience / qualifications." I think most young people go through this, we don't believe in what we are capable of because we don't have ¨experiencia¨ or because we don't have the qualifications to achieve something. I'm already there, i just take risks and dare, if i have to stumble, i get up and learn from it.
"Someone else can probably do this better than me. It happens that i have a lot of respect for people who study a career or specialize in something, i feel that they know much more than i do, because they have more experience in the field. BUT, i can't just depend on someone else's work to do everything i need to do.
For example, I'm an Interior Designer, and since I've always liked Graphic Design topics, i took a course of about 40 hours of that. And i feel that i defend myself in the area, but i cannot say that i am a Graphic Designer because i am not a professional in the area nor have i dedicated myself enough to that... I can solve and create arts for my own use or easy subjects, but i do not dare to call myself that way because i feel that it is a lack of respect for those who do this kind of work.
The same happens with my career, there are a million people who think they are ¨Designers¨ and it is the biggest mistake, just because someone has good taste or knows some details does not mean that they are 100% prepared to create a design at its best.
Blogging Challenge - Part 02 - Day 19
Creencias autolimitadas
"No tengo suficiente experiencia / calificaciones."
"I don't have the money." To be honest, this is one that haunts me every day, i've been wanting to be independent for years, but the little money i make makes me not dare, and if i add up the pandemic to this, i'm backing out like the crab. I am working on getting this out of my head and throwing it away, and work very hard for it. Soon i will achieve.
"I don't have time." This one i'm over it, because i realized that the one who wants to can, and it's all about priorities, if you don't have ¨time¨ it's because you don't want to spend time on something. And there's time for everything, you just have to know how to manage it.
"Not falling in love with a pretty boy." This is already a topic that i think is particular to my country, the beauty here is a little different from what you see in the movies... so when kids appear who are ¨pretty¨ they usually worry more about their beauty than they forget to use their brain from time to time. And honestly I prefer attention over vanity, but, i have also noticed that this doesn't work that way in all cases, there are exceptions. And also in the countries where ¨belleza is normal, they don't even realize they have it and it makes them more humble.
"Not getting a husband after 30" If you are in your 30's and don't have a husband, you are almost ¨jamona¨ no idea what´s the transpation to this, but i am not going to worry about that. If someone is going to come, let them come and if not, I can live alone and adopt dogs and cats and babies.
And well nothing, these beliefs take a long time to form and they cannot be changed overnight. But if you focus and work on them consistently, you can make progress and change in your life. I invite you to analyze your ¨limitations¨ and see how you can fix them.
That's all for now. Thank you very much for joining me in this little corner of tripode, i hope you have a wonderful day, i hope to see you again soon... and remember, good vibes always.
"No tengo tiempo."
