My Morning -> Afternoon

I awoke early today, around 7am, for it was to be a trip day to Toronto for myself!
Being so, I got my things together for a good day, and headed up to brew some coffee! I checked up on my hydroponics, plants and herbs, and indoor garden and botany before grabbing my cup of Joe and a nice egg quiche.
After watching some more Olympic Team Canada Curling, vs Team Norway, I prepared myself to head on way to my first destination along my journey to Toronto around 9am!

First, I headed on way to my initial stop, and left for downtown Mississauga!

alt

Once reaching downtown,

alt

I caught my next bus to Port Credit via Cooksville,

alt

Waiting, I admired how this area of Mineola has started developing;

alt

Onward, I reached Long Branch Go Station at the borders of Etobicoke south of Kipling-Islington and near Alderwood;

alt

It was a fair temperature outside, a cool 4°C,

alt

And I was enjoying myself with some photogenic shots!

alt

With the westbound train arriving,

alt

The eastbound train arrived shortly after and I was on way to Union Station in Toronto!

alt

I headed through the York Concourse,

alt

And then the Bay Concourse,

alt

Traveling my way through Union Station,

alt

Until eventually arriving at The Great Hall!

alt

I continued along my way, peeking outside by the Scotiabank Arena,

alt

Following the York St. Concourse,

alt

Along the bridge crossing,

alt

And arriving, after looking outside by Bay and York,

alt

Reached the entrance to the P.A.T.H.!

alt

Continuing along,

alt

I followed more crossings,

alt

Until eventually arriving at...

alt

The C.N. Tower!

alt

This area by Ripley's and old Roger's Arena was beautiful,

alt

And with a beautiful view of the city on either side,

alt

I wasn't complaining!

alt

Onward!

alt

I traveled across the York Bridge,

alt

And reached John St. S,

alt

Traveling down past Adelaide and Richmond,

alt

Wellington and Queen,

alt

And eventually, down Queen St. W,

alt

Past Spadina to Bathurst,

alt

And eventually, past ChinaTown,

alt

To Portland, to see an old friend around noon!

alt

In the heart of Graffiti Alley!

alt

My Afternoon -> Evening

I headed out around 2pm and grabbed some lunch!

alt

I passed through Spadina and, eventually,

alt

Chinatown Centre!

alt

I ventured around inside a bit,

alt

Explored both floors,

alt

Then headed back on my way!

alt

However, it sadly started raining and although my trip wasn't fully complete, I accomplished most of what I wanted today!

alt

I headed back,

alt

Passing another shopping centre,

alt

And traveling down Garange,

alt

With view of some beautiful homes,

alt

I was loving it,

alt

Eventually I passed the Art Gallery of Ontario, seen above in the skyline shot -new- and just above this -old-.

And then, reached the P.A.T.H again at Richmond and Queen St. W,

alt

And entered,

alt

Beginning my journey underground...

alt

And continuing throughout,

alt

For it was a beautiful walk!

alt

I followed this back,

alt

To Union Station;

alt

Once there, I headed back on the train after I found way to the track,

alt

For even though my trip was partially cut short, a 2 hour transit ride back -and each way- as well as a 5 hour day is a decent way to spend my afternoon I'd say!

And I didn't care about the rain,

For when I arrived in Long Branch-Alderwood, Etobicoke,

alt

I caught the bus back to Port Credit-Mineola, Mississauga, through to Clarkson

alt

That by the time I reached almost home, the rain had stopped and it wasn't too cold for the remainder of the day!

alt

Decent!

My Evening -> Night

I headed out to the local pizza parlor for a slice, and upon arriving back, enjoyed the remainder of my night catching up to my YouTube subscriptions, watching the Trailer Park Boys' SwearNet channel, and watching the 2022 OBS Olympic Curling Team Canada vs. Norway.

And finishing up my night, I look back on my day, reflecting on how enjoyable it was.

I look forward to more days like this. Let's see what tomorrow has in store!

Cheers to yet another good one all, and to tomorrow's, all fellow ActiFitters - the best of days! 🍻
