Hey folks, todays topic is CLI, CLI is a commands line interface that is used to manage the switch functionality. It is the equivalent to a gui and in most cases more preferable over the GUI.
The switch has its own set off commands that are programmed into the switch that can be manipulated to give the Network Engineer the desired output.
CLI commands are not case sensitive and can be shortened instead of typing the entire command.
Here is an example above with possible commands you can use on a HP switch.
