Greetings to the tribe! :}
In the late afternoon yesterday I've had the urge to use paints on surfaces :]
The first painting above was my palette at first.
It is a recycled piece from laminated wooden floor.
Second in on recycled Komatex from my past job in an advertising agency. I rounded the corners and was happy to find out, that you can cut through this material with a good scissors :)
This painting was intended to be a #mandala ~like sorta!
simple pencil draws good on this and you can blur it with your finger! ;)
then...
Paints are wet, you gotta be careful!
Or you can scratch it! This time I haven't used that technique...
rather on the other painting...
You can notice how colors are different in a variety of lightning situations:
- artificial / natural light / camera flash
- dryness of the paint
- positioning of the viewer :)
and now!
let me show you after drying!
(today's photos ~ cloudy daylight without flashlight)
This one's name is: RGB
although I realized it looks better upside down :P
The uneven lower-down corner cut gives it a nice finish...somehow :)
what do you think?
