It is Re-Cap and Ret-Con time!
I know I mentioned this earlier, but I used a character in a few chapters that I thought was a public domain character, but in fact will not be until 2030. I discovered this right as I was planning to compile the first five chapters of The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley into a manga-size paperback volume (called Season 1, because TV show). So I am just now starting the process of removing the appearances and mentions of that earlier character and replacing him with this new public domain character, The Wraith!
So, instead of a white figure in a green cloak, we now have the much better green figure in a white cape. I took some creative liberties and added a cowl to the cape and boom! Now it's a white cloak.

You may notice that the Spectre is much more ripped. Based on the couple of Golden Age comic images of Wraith, his muscles are all drawn in, even though he doesn't really look muscular at all. More like his green skin is slightly translucent and stretched taut over his muscles. Less superhero, more desiccated corpse-y. So, I'll be trying to make him look a bit more gaunt and creepy compared to Spectre.
So, I plan to keep up on my usual work pace of one panel a day. But since all I'm doing are replacement panels, I'll also be posting chunks of the chapter, so that you can read through it as the changes go live. So today we get a flashback to the first appearance of Long John Silver and a first look at The Wraith.
