I watch movies and TV series whenever I have time. However, I am not a regular or movie lover; I like to watch in my free time. A few days ago, I finished watching the sex education TV series. In episode 6 of season 2, Remi tells Otis, "Just try and stay honest. Because once you start lying, it's very hard to stop." This line takes up space in my mind. I repeat that moment and take a screenshot. I have gone through many situations during this long period of my life; I have experienced both good and bad situations.
Sometimes I resorted to lies to prevent bad situations, and that one lie would push a thousand lies equally. But you know what, you get relief from that situation through that lie. No! I'm not saying there weren't alternative options; of course, there were. Every problem has an alternative way to get out of it, I had situations too, but it is straightforward to get out of there by lying. And the day I started lying, it kept growing. I can't stop lying even if I want to because I started it myself.
People first resort to lies when they cannot protect their self-interests. What would you do if you were in danger and saw that a lie could save you from danger? It will help if you lay to avoid trouble. That's the first lie, and that's how lies start. The same thing happened to me.
However, a class of people are less confident and skeptical about their abilities due to congenital or environmental reasons; they are usually very much aware of their disabilities. They are content to compare themselves with others, thinking that They will not expose their disability or incompetence in public. Then they try their best to keep their real appearance secret from everyone. That is why they are always trying to present a fake idol of themselves and protect it. This work requires degrading others as well as one's fake qualifications, and they constantly lie.
One lie that brings ten more lies, everyone knows. As a result, it does not take long to turn into a vicious cycle. And it is almost impossible for an ordinary person to get out of it. Even a group of people lie without any reason or purpose; that is, lying becomes their habit. For those who always lie, lying is a kind of self-defense, and with this lie, they save their backs.
A small lie can really make life hell. One lie after another appears and becomes a habit. And we know it's hard to get out of a tough addiction. So not lying under any circumstances. Not only lying, but we should also refrain from saying that there is a possibility of lying.
