I visited Don Torrisi at his vineyard office, passed various locals along the way. Torrisi addressed the recent kidnapping attempt on Gennaro orchestrated by Lodovico to pressure Baron Fontanella.
Seeking retribution for involving Isabella, Torrisi tasked Enzo with joining Tino's men near Lodovico's villa to send a clear message.
It was time to meet with Don Torrisi at the vineyard. As I walked toward the main estate, I crossed paths with Father Cicero. He asked if Enzo was searching for him to confess his sins, but Enzo clarified that he was simply saying a quick prayer before seeking an audience with Don Torrisi.
Father Cicero noted that he had recently been with the Don upstairs in his office, confirming his location.
I continued toward the grand mansion to locate Torrisi. On my way through the property, I caught Cesare attempting to flirt with a woman nearby. I decided to intervene and disrupt his attempt, interrupting the conversation by asking where Torrisi was, despite already knowing the answer.
Taking advantage of the distraction, the lady quickly made her escape. Cesare, slightly annoyed, confirmed that Torrisi was upstairs in his office, leaving me to head inside while he returned to his failed romantic attempts.
Before heading up, I passed through the kitchen and encountered Valentina, the cook. She asked Enzo to send her husband her way if he happened to see him. Keeping her request in mind, I moved toward the staircase and climbed up to the office, completely unsure of what the Don intended to discuss.
I knocked on the heavy wooden door of Torrisi's office. Luca opened it from the inside and asked for Enzo to enter.
The room felt eerily quiet, and Enzo felt a wave of tension, uncertain of what awaited him. Torrisi broke the silence by announcing that he wanted to speak regarding his daughter, which only heightened Enzo's anxiety.
However, Torrisi commended Enzo, stating that his actions for Isabella and the family showed immense courage. Luca chimed in, noting that this was not the first time Enzo had shown strength in the face of danger. Torrisi added that true bravery remained a rare trait in the world.
Torrisi explained that the incident at the temple was a direct insult to Isabella and the family reputation. While Enzo had handled the Messina situation, Torrisi emphasized that the underlying matter was far from resolved, asking if Enzo would help bring it to a final close.
Enzo agreed being confused. Torrisi revealed that Baron Fontanella held a major interest in the sulfur mines at Collesano, but his relationship with his business partner, Lodovico, had recently collapsed.
Lodovico had hired the brigands to kidnap Gennaro, intending to force Fontanella into selling his holdings.
While Torrisi originally preferred not to meddle in mine disputes, Isabella's involvement turned it into a personal matter for the family. He declared that a message needed to be sent to prove that Torrisi always protects his own.
After Enzo accepted the task, Luca instructed him to follow him downstairs, explaining that they needed to meet Tino's men at a farm near Lodovico's villa.
As we walked out through the kitchen, I realized that Luca was actually Valentina's husband that Valentina asked me to send her way.
