After Spider Man captured Herman he decided to visit Martin Li to learn more about the masked men. At that moment MJ called Spider Man and during their conversation he told her that he was going to see Martin Li to ask about the mask. After arriving there Peter changed back into his normal clothes and went upstairs to Martin Li's room. Martin Li was happy to learn that he might be able to help Peter. After examining the mask Martin Li told him that those people were very dangerous and that it would be better to stay away from them. Peter then left the room and continued talking with MJ. A short while later he left Martin Li's office.
After turning Herman over to the police, I still had one big question in my mind: who were those masked men and what exactly were they involved in? So I decided to look for someone who might know more about them. That led me to Martin Li. While I was making my way toward Martin Li's location, MJ called Peter. Peter told her that he was currently heading to see Martin Li because he wanted to find out more about the masked people and the strange mask they were using. MJ seemed interested in what Peter was planning but Peter was already focused on getting some answers.
After reaching the location, Peter couldn't simply walk in as Spider Man so he entered as himself. I made my way inside and headed upstairs toward Martin Li's room. The change from Spider Man to Peter was a nice little break from the usual action, especially after dealing with Herman and his unpredictable behavior.
When Peter finally met Martin Li, Li seemed genuinely happy to see him. He was glad that Peter had come to visit and was even more pleased when he realized that he might actually be able to help him with what he was investigating.
Peter then showed Martin the mask. The moment Martin saw it, his reaction became much more serious. He immediately recognized that the people connected to the mask were dangerous. Instead of giving Peter a simple answer, Martin warned him to stay away from them. According to him, these weren't people Peter should be getting involved with and digging too deeply into their activities could put him in serious danger. Peter didn't get as much information as he had hoped for but at least he now knew that the masked group was something much more serious than a random gang.
After leaving Martin's room Peter continued talking with MJ. Their conversation gave the scene a calmer feeling after all the action earlier. I still had plenty of questions about the masked men but this visit made it clear that there was something much bigger going on behind that mysterious mask.
