Una introducción necesaria
“Le quedó grande la palabra, amigo o me quedó pequeño su concepto de amistad, será que es demasiado lo que pido o fue mi poco lo que tuvo para dar. Amigo no es un peso en el bolsillo, no es un carro ni un castillo, no es el oro ni el dinero: Amigo es mucho más que un compañero, es el cariño más sincero y más puro que ha existido”
En esa parte de la canción Yaliesky Zaldívar, explica, a grandes rasgos su concepto, como autor, sobre la amistad y coincido con él en la mayoría de los postulados.
También dice, a veces duele tener a un amigo, pues, nunca de un enemigo es de quien vienen las traiciones. En esta parte es con la que no estoy de acuerdo porque un amigo verdadero no traiciona.

Mi concepto sobre la amistad y los amigos
Definir o caracterizar como habilidades intelectuales siempre resulta difícil porque debes generalizar el significado de un término que, debe ser aplicado a la mayoría de los procesos, fenómenos o, en este caso, a los seres humanos. No obstante, trataré de decir lo que pienso al respecto y espero que me podáis ayudar a mejorar lo que pienso:
Para mí, la amistad es una relación interpersonal que se cultiva entre dos o más seres humanos y que se caracteriza por las buenas acciones, el desinterés, el respeto, el ocuparse y preocuparse por esa persona y estar dispuesto a cualquier sacrificio por su felicidad y bienestar.
Pero, un amigo es más profundo. Es esa persona que encierra esas características y mucho más, que está siempre, a pesar de la distancia, porque, muchas veces los que tienen un amigo lo tiene lejos, pero, sus palabras de alientos, vivencias y consejos siempre están presentes en nosotros.
En mi caso, tengo la suerte de ser millonario porque tengo amigos en mi vida. Es cierto que no son muchos, pero, los que tengo alumbran mi vida y me han acompañado a lo largo de mi vida o desde que nos conocimos.
Características de mis amigos
•Son incondicionales
•Han estado siempre en las malas, más que en las buenas
•Son personas honestas y muy sencillas
•Son severos y amorosos conmigo
•No me mienten, por muy duro que sea lo que tienen que decir
•Están dispuestos al mayor sacrificio por mí
Para ser amigos ellos dicen lo mismo de mí y, hemos tenido la posibilidad de demostrarlo mutuamente.
De mis amigos, ninguno vive cerca de mí, pero, no quiere decir que no sintamos esa relación de amistad porque, es muy difícil que pase un día sin que sepamos de nuestros proyectos de vida, la familia, nuestras problemáticas y nuestros logros.
Un ejemplo de reciprocidad
Recientemente, hizo 40 años de mi primera donación de sangre. Tenía 17 años y acababa el preuniversitario. La hijastra de un amigo necesitaba sangre B+ para salvarle la vida a esa niña y no aparecía. Yo nunca había hecho eso, pero asumí el reto y no me arrepiento.
Esa mujer no es mi amiga, pero, nos llevamos muy bien y siempre me recuerda que ella lleva un poco de mí en su cuerpo. Su padrastro que fue mi amigo, siempre me decía que cuando pensaba en las características de un amigo pensaba en mí. No creo que sea así, pero es lo que decía.
La vida, después, le dio la oportunidad a él de donar su sangre para salvar mi vida.
Mi mejor amiga
Contrario a lo que puedan pensar, mi mejor amiga es mujer, no hombre. Esa mujer es mi cómplice, consejera, educadora, madre y amiga. Los que me han leído saben que mi mamá no está físicamente, pero, me niego a hablar de ella en pasado porque ella está en presente y vivirá en mi futuro.
José Martí, héroe nacional de Cuba dijo que la muerte no es verdad cuando se ha cumplido bien la obra de la vida y eso pienso de mi mejor amiga.
Un comentario final
El desarrollo de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Informática y las Comunicaciones; así como el surgimiento de las Redes Sociales han permitido que prolifere las relaciones digitales entre seres humanos de diferentes partes del mundo y, por tanto, se creen nuevos lazos de amistad.

A necessary introduction

My concept of friendship and friends
Defining or characterizing as intellectual abilities is always difficult because you must generalize the meaning of a term that, should be applied to most processes, phenomena or, in this case, human beings. Nevertheless, I will try to say what I think about it and I hope you can help me to improve what I think:
For me, friendship is an interpersonal relationship that is cultivated between two or more human beings and is characterized by good deeds, selflessness, respect, caring and concern for that person and being willing to any sacrifice for their happiness and well-being.
But, a friend is deeper. It is that person who encloses these characteristics and much more, who is always there, despite the distance, because, many times those who have a friend have him far away, but, his words of encouragement, experiences and advice are always present in us.
In my case, I am lucky to be a millionaire because I have friends in my life. It is true that there are not many of them, but the ones I have light up my life and have accompanied me throughout my life or since we met.
Characteristics of my friends
To be friends they say the same about me and, we have had the chance to prove it to each other.
Of my friends, none of them live close to me, but, it doesn't mean that we don't feel that relationship of friendship because, it is very difficult for a day to go by without us knowing about our life projects, family, our problems and our achievements.
An example of reciprocity
Recently, it was 40 years since my first blood donation. I was 17 years old and had just finished high school. A friend's stepdaughter needed B+ blood to save that little girl's life, and I didn't show up. I had never done that before, but I took on the challenge and I don't regret it.
That woman is not my friend, but, we get along very well and she always reminds me that she carries a little bit of me in her body. Her stepfather who was my friend, always told me that when he thought of the characteristics of a friend he thought of me. I don't think so, but that's what he used to say.
Life later gave him the opportunity to donate his blood to save my life.
My best friend
Contrary to what you may think, my best friend is a woman, not a man. That woman is my accomplice, counselor, educator, mother and friend. Those who have read me know that my mother is not physically here, but I refuse to speak of her in the past because she is in the present and will live in my future.
José Martí, Cuba's national hero said that death is not true when the work of life has been well accomplished and that is what I think of my best friend.
A final comment
The development of New Information and Communication Technologies; as well as the emergence of Social Networks have allowed the proliferation of digital relationships between human beings from different parts of the world and, therefore, the creation of new bonds of friendship.
