Today I introduce you a new plot work. It call "Shirt" and is part of “Penelope Underground” series of tapestries. It is made with interweaving of waste materials, and of metal wires.
Oggi vi presento un nuovo lavoro di tessitura. Si chiama "Shirt" e fa parte della serie di arazzi "Penelope Underground". E' stato realizzato con intrecci di materiali di scarto e fili metallici.
It start by a metal hanger for clothes from which all the weaving is developed. It is formed of skin, fabrics, ropes, metal wires inrweaving with crochet. It dimensions are 50 by 104 cm.
Inizia da una gruccia metallica per abiti da cui viene sviluppata tutta la tessitura. E' formata da pelle, tessuti, corde fili metallici intrecciati all'uncinetto. Le sue dimensioni sono 50 per 104 cm.
They are very long jobs, they require a lot of patience and passion, not only for the recovery of materials, but also for processing.
