I make with my hands, returning to the small decisions that turn an idea into something I can touch, adjust, question, and slowly recognize as mine,
I make with my hands, remembering that craft is not always the grand moment when everything comes together but the quiet choices nobody else may notice,
I make with my hands, enjoying the texture of the work instead of asking whether it is good enough, finished or worthy enough to be seen,
I make with my hands, do I still know how to enjoy what I am doing when I stop measuring every step against the final result,
I make with my hands, as I continue to just enjoy the work, everything becomes playful again…

I follow what excites me, choosing the experiments that keep pulling at my attention even when I cannot yet explain why,
I follow what excites me, curiosity gives me somewhere to begin and I do not need certainty before I care about where it might come from,
I follow what excites me, trusting that some ideas deserve to be explored simply because something in me keeps returning to them,
I follow what excites me, what am I genuinely curious to make when I stop worrying whether anyone else understands it yet,
I follow what excites me, as I come and see different explorations now the work starts feeling alive in in a much more different way…

As I keep several things moving, not to avoid finishing but still returning to another piece loosens my attachment enough to see the first once again,
As I keep several things moving, allowing each project to give me a different kind of attention so one unfinished decision does not consume all my creative energy,
As I keep several things moving, sometimes the distance between making and analyzing is exactly what I need to see what the work is asking from me,
As I keep several things moving, can I step away from something I love without fearing I will lose the excitement that made me start it,
I keep several things moving, every time I visit a whole new thing, fresh set of eyes become part of my craft…

I care for the details, giving myself permission to remove what no longer belongs, refine what feels rough, and bring in another set of hands when it better serves the work,
I care for the details, because doing everything myself is not the same as caring deeply but loving the work means knowing where my hands should stop and begin,
I care for the details, letting the final piece become different from what I first imagined because making teaches me what I could not know at the beginning,
I care for the details, can I let the work change me without feeling that I have lost control of what I wanted to create,
I care for the details, I begin to understand that care is not measured by how much I add, but by how deeply I am willing to remain with what is already there…

Watchwords:
Craft is the hundreds of quiet choices
The work becomes playful again
I follow what excites me
Fresh eyes become part of my craft
Craft becomes an expression of care
