This weekend (Saturday) I went with some friends to Los Canales de Río Chico, located in the center-east of the state of Miranda/Venezuela, in the region of Barlovento.
It had been more than 10 years since I had visited this picturesque place, known for its culture and traditions.
It has Tourist interest for its beaches, rivers, churches, squares, among other things. In addition to the cultivation of cocoa.
We left very early, we traveled two hours by road and we got lost, we did not know how to get to the beaches. We kept driving until we saw a square where there was a beautiful church, I parked the car and got out to ask which was the way to the beaches, I had the opportunity to take some pictures of the church and the square.
A very kind man showed us the way, we kept driving, we did not know where we were, we did not really understand the man's explanation, we went over a bridge where we could see one of the canals, we parked the car and took some pictures (we could not stop photographing so much beauty).
We had the opportunity to see some fishermen casting the fishing line, but they did not catch anything and continued on their way, we continued on our way without knowing exactly where we were going, but asking and asking we finally arrived at a beautiful beach.
In spite of all that we rolled, all the time we wasted asking questions and the places we stopped, we arrived early and the beach was almost empty.
The sky was cloudy, we thought it was going to rain, but in good time it didn't. For a moment we were a little afraid of not knowing where we were and the loneliness of the place, but we agreed to stay.
For a moment we were a little afraid of not knowing where we were and the loneliness of the place, but we agreed to stay since we had driven a long way to get there and the beach looked fabulous.
We got our stuff out of the car and walked to a clean and clear spot to set up our umbrella and beach chairs.
The first thing I did was to ask a man who was nearby: "What is the name of this beach? "Playa Cristal" he answered, after thanking him I commented with my friends that now we knew a new beach, that's wonderful! "We all three expressed".
We got situated, had breakfast and took a shower in that delicious sea, then we took some beers from the cellar and toasted thanking God for this special moment he was giving us, and from then on we enjoyed an excellent day.
After a while, people started to arrive and we were very calm and relaxed.
We had a great day, although there was a cloud that at times covered the sun, we got a good tan, we met some people who were nearby and started talking to them, the time passed and when I realized it was already 5 pm, we immediately picked up and left, we remembered that we were not very clear about the road and the three of us were alone.
We said goodbye and left, fortunately we found relatively quickly the highway that would take us back home and we arrived around 7 pm but all quiet, we arrived safely, thank God.
Well my dear readers, this is my experience of the weekend, I hope you enjoyed it. I bid you farewell, see you soon.
