Well, when these monster mammals are in a playful mood then you will notice it pretty quickly! If you are every lucky enough to be in the presence of a whale that decides its full of energy and for some reason socially playful, then you can expect this 30+ tonne animal to potentially leap of the water numerous times.
It is in these moments you might be able to capture a half decent shot of a whale mid air enjoying life and their day in their feeding grounds around the Antarctic peninsula.
