Time in nature once again

Getting out and about has been not as easy as it once was, believe it or not. I know that I am not the only one in this predicament. However, I was fortunate enough to have a close friend that also enjoys taking photos from time to time and was bored. As a result, we ventured into the scenic rim national park in the Gold Coast hinterlands to check out some walks and waterfalls.

After hours of hiking and coming to a fast realisation that our fitness levels were well below to that which we remember, we arrived at a peaceful section of the river. In all honesty, I only took a few photos and spent the rest of the time simply breathing and taking in serenity. I am not overly ecstatic of the outcome of the photos, as it is by far not my best but the opportunity to improve, which was my take away. Well, that and to make more of an effort to get away from the city and people to recharge - camera in hand or not.
