Hello Everyone,
Where do I start?! I've honestly always wanted to be a writer. Now that I am living in Shanghai,China, I have the opportunity to polish my skills. The other night I met a basketball player who recognized my Jamaican accent. After a small conversation where he discovered I was a writer, he suggested I try out this platform. I am eternally grateful to him for that. So many years I've spent writing short stories and poems, leaving them in notebooks that no one would see. Believing that writers never made money off their work until they died. It seems, Steemit has changed that.
Growing up, Edgar Allen Poe was my main inspiration. I enjoyed the dark pictures his words painted in my imagination. The Raven being my favorite piece of literature. Until now! Writers and Actors like George R.R. Martin and Jason Momoa have since rekindled my love of the literary and cinema arts.
This blog will mainly express that love. As well as anything my heart would bring me to write about. I want to thank everyone in advance for their support of my creative ventures. With Love,
