I was going through the Hive ranking board and the activity check, and I realized I have not done my introductory post. This means that all the years I've been on Hive, no one truly knows me. What a good time to introduce myself on the platform. It may not look too important, but I want that part of my activity checked on the board. I don't know how, but Hive should take notice that I didn't come to the platform as a stranger, but as one who has a niche—no, sorry, no niche—just a random writer who specializes in every niche.
Call me David Wisdom, a Nigerian and someone who has seen generations. I wasn't born a writer; I acquired that skill while growing up and decided to fit in with other writers. When it comes to favorite things, I really don't have any. I go with whatever I find comfortable at any moment—I wouldn't like to stress nature or myself on this one. I have several strengths. One is learning fast, faster than anyone can imagine. Just give me one guide or maybe half the process, and I'll decipher the rest within minutes, especially when I'm interested in what I'm learning. The second is my level of endurance—it's out of this world. I haven't tried walking on hot coal, though.
My weakness is that I don't give up. Okay, that looks like a strength until I'm bent on doing the wrong thing, hahaha. Once I'm on anything, I don't know how to give it up. I stick around anything as long as it exists, unless it decides to chase me away. I also grew up to be a minimalist. When there's a need to use resources effectively, then call me. I always have a thousand ways to get things done without wasting resources or time.
Finally, I have been on the Hive blockchain for almost six years without a niche. I know many writers believe in niches; however, people like me with superpowers don't rely on niches—we fit anywhere. I have been writing in different niches and sometimes try free writing. Even though I prefer story writing, my imagination is always wide, and this helps me think of different story ideas. I was referred by a friend called Burlarj. We've been friends since 2012 and only met two years ago.
So what would I offer? The same thing I've been offering: stories, poems, prompts for contests, inspirational posts, and much more. While we await a rebound on the blockchain, let's keep Hiving and making blogs. I am already making friends, and I hope to make more.
