It is a privilege for me to be part of this Hive community.
My name is Dremo, and I am from Nigeria. I am a writer and an actor. I first heard about Hive through a post I came across on Twitter. I became interested in the platform, and with the help and guidance of ChatGPT, I was able to create an account. Since then, I have been exploring the platform and trying to understand how things work here. At first, there were many things I didn't understand, but I have been taking my time to learn and find my way around.
I also want to appreciate the @theinkwell community for directing me to make this introductory post. Thank you for welcoming and guiding me. I truly appreciate the encouragement, especially as someone who is still finding his way around the community.
I am also a student, currently in my 300 level, studying Linguistics at ABU university, here in the northern part of Nigeria. By next year, I will probably be graduating, and honestly, I can't wait. Being a student comes with a lot of stress, responsibilities and challenges, but I believe it is all part of the journey.
I must confess that I am still learning about the Hive community, and I don't know much about everything that happens here yet. However, one thing that first caught my attention was writing. As a writer, I see Hive as an opportunity to let my voice reach more people, share my thoughts, and learn from others. I also look forward to reading what other people have to share and discovering different ways of looking at things. I find it interesting that people from different places can come together on one platform and share their experiences, ideas and opinions. Even when we don't see things the same way, there is always something we can learn from one another.
And the fact that it is decentralized, makes it even more interesting as I get to own my contents.
As a writer, I enjoy putting my thoughts into words. Sometimes, I come across things that makes me think, and I love to put it down through an ink. I also enjoy telling stories because it create different situations and let people see things from another point of view.
This is also one of the reasons I am happy to be on Hive. I get to share my writing, read from other people and meet writers with different ideas and experiences. Since I have barely spent two months on Hive, I know there is still a lot for me to discover here. I hope that as time goes on, I will get to discover more communities and meet interesting people and learn more about what this platform has to offer. I am also looking forward to becoming more active and finding my place among the people who make this community what it is.
