A friend forwarded a contest for #abandoned photos to me a few months ago because he thought some of the photos that I’ve shot of abandoned objects and places through the rustbelt would be good candidates. I signed up, waited and eventually forgot about it.
Yesterday, commuting home from work, I stumbled on the email confirming my membership and finally signed in.
I don’t know jack shot about crypto currency so I’m not here for the gold rush that all of the YouTube “influencers” talk about. If I make a few bucks, that’s cool. I just like shooting photos of the weekend trips that I take with my kids, exploring abandoned buildings, cars and towns; views of nature, interesting architecture and found objects. I like how things look; I like seeing and capturing perspectives, colors and shadows.
I also like seeing others photos of the same stuff.
