TO THE MAN IN GRIEF....It's not over yet!
Tooth beleaguers the tongue
like how cactus houses spines.
The tongue shouldn’t because
of molar’s absence, scorn the
intake of tubers; for those
who give up to the deepness
of the winter would miss
the promise of the spring.
That it rains for months
doesn't guarantee the growth of plants.
And that it rains for seconds
doesn't guarantee the death of plants.
For I have seen the growth of xerophytes
in the absence of rain and drought.
For I have seen the rise of
weeds, after the raze by the inferno
that strikes to burn
like the heat from the sun.
I have seen the disgrace of
the gloomy cloud after the
birth of rain, whose tears is
enough to fill a lake.
Do not because of lightning,
cast spells on the rain.
Those who give up to the itchy nature of yam peels.
would surely miss how yam tastes with oil.
