In our lives, sometimes we are blessed by our circumstances. Sometimes we are blessed by our family. And sometimes we are blessed by others.

Today, I was blessed by a medical professional that I am proud to call a friend, as well. Several weeks ago, I hyperextended my shoulder while trimming a tree in my front yard. I was finally able to see my chiropractor today and I was blessed by his services. I have known him, both inside and outside of this practice for several years. I can say I truly trust him and know that he prays for me and will always do what is in my best interest (including sending me to a doctor if he feels he cannot help me). He explained to me what has probably happened to my shoulder, how it is affecting me, and how the treatment will proceed. He also let me know that he doesn't think this will be a long treatment period. Prior to today, it was continually getting worse. After his treatment today, I am already feeling some relief. This is how I was blessed today.

I am disheartened to say that I am finding it difficult to locate posts that fall into the family history genre. I also feel that my mission to encourage those types of posts would be better served by engaging with the @familyhistory account and directing those content providers to the Family History community. While I will continue to search for these types of posts to include here, I will also be spending more time engaging in the other area. I am even considering featuring a post from the family history account with each post to highlight engagement here, but still promote my mission as I uncover more stories worth capturing for the sake of family history.

@familyhistory - ""Family Histories: Looking Into the Past in Somerset" by @riverflows" is my first family history post in the Family History Community. This is describing a post I originally listed here in a previous post.

@creativemary - "What do you leave behind?" is a wonderful example of a seldom heard about part of family history, life lessons, and the desire to pass them on to your children.

@elizabetamt - "Earn With Blogging" is a great post about why we blog and how to get started.

@fumegi - "My great grandfather in the middle. US Army paratrooper, WWII." another post containing a photo of an ancestor. These are such an important part of family history and are great story starters when talking to ancestors about their life.

@osm0sis - "The treasures left behind by my great-grandfather #2" is about the art left behind by the author's great grandfather. Did your ancestor create any art that was passed down to you? Tell about it in the Family History Community.
