Another late start...let's see if I can get everything done tonight.

I am doubly blessed. Yesterday, I told you about my daughter that I am so proud of. She would not have been possible without my beautiful wife (you can see now where my daughter got her good looks).

This past month we celebrated thirty three years of marriage together. Since my daughter was homeschooled, my wife gets the credit for her strong foundation and willingness to serve others. Having come from a teaching background herself (both of her parents were teachers and she was a public school teacher up until our daughter was born), she instilled in our daughter a love of reading, language, and sharing knowledge with others (our daughter started helping to teach in the elementary-aged Sunday School at church before she even was even old enough for high school). My wife is a special lady who continually blesses me.

I am continuing to inch along in this area with minor increases in all three categories. We must remember that this is a marathon and not a sprint (that is why these goals are for the remainder of the year).

If you have read any of my recent posts, you know I have a desire to encourage others to capture and share their family history (both stories and life lessons) so they can be enjoyed now, but also passed down to future generations. Thus, most of my engagements are not only to reach out to people who have posted these types of stories, but to make others aware of these stories, to show examples of some types of stories to share, and hopefully trigger a memory that will lead to you sharing a story of your own.

@katdvine - "More old photographs of my family history." is another example of sharing family photos and telling their stories. Do you have any old family photos you could share?

@vcelier - "The Story of My Life so Far - Part 129 - Last episode: Summary of years 2006-2019" is the last in a long series of post about the author's life story (it even includes links to all of the previous episodes). In today's reality-centric society, how better to follow someone else's life. This shows you can be your own reality star. This is another type of family history you could post to pass along to others.

@hansikhouse - "Learning About "Koryo Saram": Korea's Population in Former-Soviet Territories" talks about the Korean population that migrated to other countries. Do you have a story of migrating to another country or culture?

@perceptualflaws - "Hidden History: The Sinking Of The Lancastria, A True Story Told Through The Eyes Of My Grandad" is an important piece of history that was experienced by the author's grandfather told from his perspective with a surprise ending. Are there any stories like this in your family?
