Hello friends, i just thought to share something that has been on my mind for a while and hopefully it makes sense to you at the end of the reading. Talking about love, it's a general topic and a natural phenomenon that everyone is familiar with but it also has it's oppositions, making it difficult to prove love sometimes or totally breaking that feeling and kills the emotions.
Sometimes people think love must be loud or something enormous to matter or be accepted sometimes people go as far as showing grand gestures like expensive gifts an all that, big speeches with lots of accolades or something very cinematic but if we are honest about real life, most of the love that keeps the world functioning is quiet. Alot of people do things in the background without others having to know and that is because they did not go about spreading the news or speaking about it to boost ego, even with the situation of the world currently, i bet people have been working hard and interceeding to keep it together in one peace , hopefully it will be a better situation soon.
I feel that it would be better if the world come together and agree on the reality of love, which is that it doesnt cost so much to prove it, we need to quit the evil of civilizatioon and modern day internet that keeps glamorizing everything to look flashy and raising standards extravagantly. love is not only shown by the friend who bought you a car but it is felt when you have just one friend that sends a message randomly just to check on you even the stranger that holds a door when you need help, and it is not hard at all to react to being loved, a simple THANK YOU wthout prayers can build connection and make the stranger happy. Some of us have a particular colleague that notices you are tired and says “go rest, I’ll finish this, it may sound easy but it takes a lot to handle someone else responsibility. What annoys me most is that one of these things trend online, no viral videos yet these small gestures quietly hold communities together without trying be to on the scene looking for commendations.
As we already know, we live in a time where attention is currency, we live in a time where everyone is trying to be seen, everybody just wanna be on the spotlight and that alone kills the thought or feeling of collectiveness and spreading love at lower levels. One interesting fact about kindness is that it often happens where nobody is looking and that is why I call it the small kindness economy. a world where simple human care circulates between people like an invisible currency. When someone receives kindness, they rarely keep it they pass it on a smile becomes another smile a helpful gesture becomes another act of help somewhere else and that ripple effect is how communities like Hive actually survive not just because of blockchain or technology, but because people still decide to treat each other well. I know i am not the only one who extends winnings and rewards to people around me but it is something we sould constantly do ad enjoy introduce our kids to it as well, that is how we build better generations.
Love on a platform like Hive is not only romantic love. It is respect It is encouragement in the comments It is supporting someone who is trying to grow their voice those little interactions slowly build something bigger than we realize.
Maybe we cannot change the entire world overnight but we can participate in this quiet economy of kindness and honestly, the return on that investment is always higher than people expect.
