The Choice Is Always Yours

It's all fun and games until it comes full circle and you are faced with the fact that you must reap what you sow. Our life is ours to weave with our free will decisions. Each action further building upon our previous choices whether they be 'good', 'bad' or indifferent. Sure, it feels great to snuggle up and sleep in but what happens when you wake up one day realizing that you've wasted away not just one day or even two but literally years of your life have passed you by? When you're sitting there in a puddle of self that's deteriorating from the consequences of these actions? Or more aptly the lack thereof? It's hard enough to face your own doings and get on with the undoings and sometimes it feels even harder to accept the free will of those around you that you love so much as they slip further and further into a deep darkness & deterioration no matter how much "life support" you breathe into their being & offer them in every possible way...every single day. They say the best teacher is experience and I do agree but I don't see any reason not to pay attention to the lessons those we love are living testaments to. It hurts like hell I tell ya, to see it for what it is but it's liberating, too. It helps to take a step back and a deep breath or two and remind yourself that free will cuts both ways and the only real thing you can do is that whole to thine own self be true bit. Keep on loving & believing and doing what's honoring your being but don't get so lost in your love that you become blinded by your own light. Just had to let that out as it was weighing pretty heavily within...

Anywayyyyys -- as for my actifitivity today, nothing super special. The weather warrior in me stepped up to the plate once again and went for a walk in the well below freezing temps but other than that the rest of my movements were racked up getting my caregiving duties done around my humble home.
