The reason why I like speaking to others is also to learn in the process. Another wonderful Sunday that had been Godly inspired. I can assure this; God can make your day if only you just give him an opportunity. Situations of life will always want to step in and inconvenience your relationship with your maker. Maybe you failed to pray or to stick to one routine or the other and the enemy starts playing some mind games with you.
Please wake up; shake off those mind games. It is not in his place (the devil) to decide your fate. It was something I had to quickly voice out in the service today when I was opportuned to lead in the scriptures reading. ‘The devil is a liar and this statement is non-negotiable’. Please get it and get it straight; ‘non-negotiable’.
In short we can even start off from there as been one of the good fights. I happened to share the scriptures some time with a friend and what came out from me was the message from Apostle Paul to his son in The Lord, Timothy. ‘Fight the good fight’ that was the message and to go further it says; ‘fight the good fight of faith’.
So what is here to learn? It was something I had to point out instantly to that friend as The Holy Spirit led me; ‘note, it did not say any fight but rather ‘the good fight’. Does it mean one can fight a bad fight? Of course it clearly shows itself out here. We most times have self reasons or put out excuses why we do what we do. The question here is; ‘does your actions boil back to the good fight of faith?’.
Personally I keep praying for the mercies of God and I ask that he keeps leading and correcting me when I go astray. It can be that difficult that sometimes all you are making is your personal decisions and God is completely not involved. Most times because you’ve given yourself so much to it, you can even feel that it is God's will. Did you observe that David as King of Israel did not attack any nation for personal interest? Maybe we should start with why he decided to take on Goliath.
1 Samuel 17:45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
And here you can see how the entire fight was worth it. God didn't let him down.

Coming to ourselves and the surrounding situations, do we have any role to play?. Why do you want to be rich? Why do you feel there is a need for power change in your country? How are you planning on working it out? Going to social media to drop text bombs? Why call ourselves believers and Christians if we cannot put our knees to the ground and cry to God for help. We’ve rather chosen to join some online angry mobs; this is not a good fight of faith.
We can also turn back to our financial growth. Many just want to ascertain financial freedom to gratify themselves. So they started as believers and ended up unbelievers. Mind you, I am not saying we should not pursue financial freedom but rather, let it be on a godly foundation. The idea of liberating the poor around you is good but make sure it doesn't come at the cost of stretching your hand into another form of evil.
In conclusion, let me add, there is a need to reflect on what we aim to do, why we are doing them and also how we are doing them. Intentions aside, when the right procedures are annulled, it becomes a self gratifying decision.
