The two women had arranged to meet at a local cafe.
So they got in, sat on a table, and ordered two cups of coffee.
It had been some time since the last had a little chat, and they wanted to make up for the lost time and learn each other’s news.
Suddenly, Sophie noticed a ring on Jane’s finger.
“OMG, is that a gold ring?”, she asked.
