Hey there!!
Day two is done and I think I did pretty well! I had an orange when what I really wanted was chocolate, and I chugged water every time I went for tea.
I definitely feel physically better in some ways. I think I glutened myself so not better in all ways right now 😂
I’m quite confident this purge of crappy old sugar will help me feel mentally better as well. The accomplishment, knowing I can kick the habit when I need to, will help my confidence levels.
Some people have asked why I would do this for December, they think it's crazy considering all the temptations. For me, I think it’s the BEST time to do this! It’s when I’m most tempted by sweets, and the whole glorification of eating crappy during cold, dark months is absolute idiocy to me. It’s a time when we should be very careful about what we are consuming, even MORE careful than usual! Making sure we are getting all the vitamins and minerals necessary, being careful not to overindulge, but also taking care to have enough fat and protein to keep us at optimum health.
Nothing about eating enough sugar to kill a small horse in there at all.

Here’s what my morning tea told me:
As of now I’m down to one cup of unsweetened green tea, which I may or may not keep, depending if I even want it anymore without the sweet!
Day two down, day three beginning!
Thanks for following along!!
Wish me luck! And stay tuned for more updates! ❤️
Thanks!
