One year ago, I wrote about Bradford Pear Trees and how beautiful they are, albeit they've become 'invasive' and a nuisance in some areas. They are blooming here again now and the landscape is filled with white blossoms on these trees.
Even before the threat of Corona Virus came to this area, I did not go out very often. And on the day I took these photos, I only went for a drive in the country, alone, snapped some photos of this tree and some more barns for my Old Barn Project, then went back home.
This tree was situated on a property owned by a local church and it was mid-week with no one around, so that gave me a good opportunity to stop the car and take these shots. The blossoms of the Bradford Pear trees are so lovely!
To learn more about these trees, where they originated, why they were brought to other parts of the globe, and how they can be classified as an "invasive species," please see my earlier post on the Bradford Pear Trees.
