Important notes:
Thank you to all who participated in last week's prompt Party
Highlighting @rdsmas, with the story:
It was suddenly and without words when she entered, illuminating the hallway like a soft wave of light, creating a void of sounds among those present, the bar where I was waiting for my next round became adorable just with her presence.
Curator's comment :
The author shows that inspiration and renewal are to be found in the strangest places, often when one least expects it. It does not matter whether Honey is real or not. She is brought to life by this author as he hones his craft. A clever and well-constructed piece.
Highlighting @idlemind, with the story:

My eyes sparked with my mom's words. The first thing that came to my mind was gifts. I waited with excitement until Mom finished what she was doing.
Curator's comment :
Vivid. Excellent use of dialog. Well structured.
Highlighting @iskawrites, with the story:

"Well since it's the holidays, don't get too spoilt," she responded causing everyone at the table to explode in laughter. I looked around for the milk sachets but saw instead that one tin of sweetened milk had been provided for each individual. I couldn't remember when I last had sweetened tin milk either. With glee, I pierced three sides of the can open and began pouring the milk out into my bowl of oats.
Curator's comment :
Iska has much skill, imagination and "special spice".
