Tensions were growing on the planet. They had no word for "no". This simple word was holding up talks. No to them translates as nothing. They do not know how to talk about nothing. Progress is getting made, just slowly.

Groups had formed again. Some for cooking. Some gathering different foods. This time within the groups. An alien or two would be with 5 or six natives. The same for the aliens, each had a few Natives.

Another thing found to be universally funny, is falling. This was found out when one of the scientists went face first into a bubbling mudhole.

Lou and Ezel were set to go and re set the explosives. Koons was going to drive the runabout back down to the planet with supplies. Before closing the hatch door. She popped her head out and called out, "Hey guys". "Don't you think this is a bit, a bit like hard work that doesn't need to be done.

Well. If we are to get all of the supplies that are here. Those requested that are not here down to the planet. It will take more than 2 or 3 trips. Some of this stuff is big. The runabout is small. One of those boxes could fill the runabout for some items.

I was more thinking along the lines of an emergency separation. If we release all three levels from each other. We can use the runabout to run a tether between level 23 and 25. Alter their orbit and leave 24 to explode. All we have to do then is fleece Items from level 24 to level 23 or 24.

Koons brought supplies back to the planet. Basic medical supplies anti biotics, sterilising agents, morphine codeine and an assortment of other he could not pronounce.

Informing others of the situation on the ship and learning of things down here. Koons wasn't sure where the better place to be was. Although things looked like they might work out. This whole thing was one big mess.

The natives voicing their need to get back to their own planet. The aliens unable to explain it cannot happen yet. Communications between us is far from fluent.

During the course of Koons meeting with those on the planet. It was decided a Doctor and a technician should also return as the extra bodies. These people would have better knowledge of what they need and where it is.

Koons would take a few hours rest before returning to the ship. This also gave the doctor and technician time to consult with others and make a second list of items need. Knowing they only had a limited time window to strip as much as possible from level 24.

Rested and now eating breakfast in the evening. Both the doctor and the technician arrived at Koons table. All prepped and ready to go when you are Captain.

CAPTAIN! HAAAAA! okay, I'll meet you at the runabout.

Koons finished eating and freshened up and made her way to the runabout. Six natives blocked the hatch and prevented the Doctor and technician from entering. Now Koons too. The noise created on trying, showed something needed to be resolved be Koons was going anywhere.

All natives talking at Koons at the same time. The doctor and technician ignored by the natives now. Any request for help was met with a shoulder shrug from both.

"You have to take two with you". Koons heard come from behind her. As she turned to see who spoke. "Ooh, Who said that? Was that you? You know what they are saying?"

Lisa.
Well yea, but I don't understand all of it. I know what they are saying just not what it means.

Koons.
So, why are they saying I need to take two?

Lisa.
Oh. because you are taking two of us. They say you must take two of them so they know you will not leave them behind?

Koons.
What? Take them up to the ship. Lou pointed. Nods of agreement came back from the natives as he pointed up. I can't do that.

Lisa.
You might have no choice. Those men are warriors from six different tribes. They will fight you if you do not agree.

Koons.
Hold on wait a minute. If I don't take two of them I have to have a fight with one of them?

Lisa.
No... You have to fight all six of them.
