We took the crate and planted it right at the drill shaft, fired up the delivery mechanism, and sent the atomic fusion alternator right to the core of Venus. We knew this wasn't going to end well, but we had very little to no choice. It was either the humans get outta here, or we vanish together. We didn't want any more blue on our planet.
It's been 16 years since the humans took over our planet, Venus. It was hard, it was brutal—these aliens had absolutely no mercy on us. They claimed to be peaceful, and we trusted them.
Our encounter was way back in the 90s when one of the human probes arrived. We saw it separate, leaving a small crate plunging through our beautiful fiery orange sky. It popped a few umbrellas (we later learned they called those chutes) to slow down the crate. And it had balloons! Once it landed, it bounced quite a number of times and then toppled over. It was fun to watch that, and we looked forward to more magic shows sent by these aliens. We viewed these as gifts from the Sun God to entertain us, since our life had always been fiery orange, accompanied by the sound of static orange noise (later we learned from the aliens these are called white noise).
After that, we saw more probes coming in. They seemed to change their strategy a little every time they came to us. Some had a small nozzle spitting whitish fumes that smelled like farts. There was one time a magic crate didn't work too well, smashed directly into our ground and was obliterated—that was one helluva show. Until one time, we think they finally got it right. There was this crate where, after they dumped the chutes, a rotor on top started spinning, producing enough lift through counter-force so the probe hovered around happily.
Very soon, these aliens started sending more equipment, all coming in the form of hovercraft. At first, they broadcasted in an Earth language they called English. We understood it well because we are one. We are Venus; we are the atmosphere. We communicate within ourselves as one. We gave the human aliens a welcome sand dance, but they didn't seem to like it. We heard them calling their base, asking for evacuation due to a sandstorm.
They claimed to come in peace, but then later they started drilling, punching holes in our surface. They hadn't even asked for permission before they started making fart-smelling air they called oxygen. They started planting toxic ore they called trees everywhere. Our sky was no longer as orange as it used to be. They laid concrete cement by using our sand, mixing it with their Earth-made chemical compounds, permanently fusing our sands together. Very soon, we were no me able to do our sand dance.
It was getting too cold. We no longer had clean air to breathe. The humans were stepping on us all the time, producing waste on our land and planting toxics on us, making the sky look horribly blue. They even came up with a slogan: "Make America Blue Again." We don't know what America is, but we don't want them bringing their Earth culture here. We didn't mind the probe magic show, but the show always made a hole in our Vezone—where we keep our atmosphere warm.
We came up with an idea: sending ourselves in a physical life form by invading one of their alien minds, bringing the atomic fusion alternator compound into the core. Overnight, the heat will start changing and reverse the atmosphere to a more breathable state. We couldn't care less if these aliens survive, since we can't even guarantee our own survival. This had to be done.
And by sunrise, nobody could remember what blue looked like...
