One man's trash can be another man's treasure, sometimes the simpler things in life can be overlooked and often I find these to be the most interesting. While at the beach I had been taking landscape shots, but after snapping another beautiful sunset at Baan Amphoe in Thailand this shiny simplistic vessel asked to be snapped.
I sat back in my deckchair and the shiny bottle was calling to me, "Why don;t you take a shot? What's wrong, am I too ugly for the likes of your lens?"
"N N N N No of course not," I replied. "I was just contemplating the right angle to go for!"
The bottle seemed happy enough, I took a few snaps from my deckchair and the bottle seemed more than pleased. It also reminded me how the most simple of objects can make a great subject to shoot. There is something about glass bottles which makes them so more sophisticated than their plastic cousin. They are so much smoother, shinier and reflect the light fantastically (when the light and angle is right, not so great when it's dark without artificial light).
