Hello Hive, Percy here it’s been a while since I last posted. A lot has happened since then. First, we went to Ecuador. Here are a few of my favorite things about this trip so far, At the airport, there was a small pond of colorful fish. My favorite was the gold koi. A sign explained that gold koi represents wealth and prosperity, white symbolizes a pure soul, and orange stands for friendship and loyalty.
Then We went to the hotel and went straight to sleep. The next morning, we got in an Uber and headed straight to Cuenca. At first, it was a bit boring, but then we started doing sports. I tried wrestling, boxing, archery, and chess.
I had two and a half hours of schoolwork, but after that, I had three and a half hours of a sports camp. In total, I did seven and a half hours of sports a day for three weeks.
After some of the sports ended, I was exhausted, so I started doing tennis, football, and private boxing practice. We also met some new friends and went to a fishing place called Pesca Deportiva Dos Chorreras. It’s a cool place where they cook the fish you catch for you. We caught 13 fish and they let us gut them. They were really tasty.
Sadly, my friends had to leave. Then it was August 21st, and it was my birthday. It was really fun. We went on a hike and then went back to the same fishing place. Amari, my sister, caught a big fish, and I caught a big fish too. But alas, all great things must come to an end.
Then, we met some more friends. They were a big group of homeschoolers who play board games on Fridays and have park meetings on Saturdays. I’m really good at all the board games. In fact, many people owe me money. Last time I won, I won “Ticket to Ride.” It’s a pretty fun game. Then, we went to the movies and watched “Coyote vs ACME.” It’s like a road runner movie, and it was really funny. I liked it a lot.
Anyway, that’s basically what we’ve been doing. Bye Hive, see you next time.
