WALNUTS ABOUND

This is the second year that the Black Walnut trees have produced Walnuts. There has to be about 10x the number of nuts as last year. I plan on taking the husk off by hand and allowing the nut to dry. We will see what I end up with as far as the size of the nut after it is shelled. @bowentroyer has a great post, Money Does Grow On Trees. He collects the nuts with his family and brings them to a local business. He gets $15.00/100lbs. With over 150 Walnut trees on the farm I may have to look into this as the trees mature and produce a greater number of nuts
