Seriously, is the populace so dim that we need these lowest common denominator headlines?

"You should wear a jacket when it's cold, experts say"
"Summer will be warm, experts predict"
"Toddlers not as tall as grown-ups, studies suggest"
Maybe it's a clickbait title, maybe the almighty algorithm thinks I'm an idiot, I don't know. But this type of "news" articles sound like they were written for 6-year-olds and it makes me a little depressed.
"If you shake it more than once after you pee, your playing with it, experts say"
