Yesterday I received reply from the artist author of the “Witchtober” list that I liked the most, I invite you to visit his Instagram account and support his art, thank you very much for the permission dear “Magin Art”!

Empiezo Inktober este año con 3 dias de atraso pero vamos a ponernos rápidamente al día, estoy decidida a cumplir el reto completo este 2024; el día 1 fue "Búho o Lechuza", y resolví este dibujo con la ayuda de esta referencia y soltando la mano con una composición plana y solida sin muchos detalles pequeños.

I start Inktober this year 3 days late but let's quickly catch up, I am determined to meet the full challenge this 2024; day 1 was “Owl or Owl”, and I solved this drawing with the help of this reference and letting my hand go with a flat and solid composition without many small details.

Para el día 2 la palabra era "Hongo", y ya me siento más en tono simplificando los pasos en un boceto sin correcciones, un primer delineado en tinta, y luego rellenando los espacios a gusto con mis plumones mas grandes.

By day 2 the word was “Mushroom”, and I already feel more in tune by simplifying the steps into a sketch without corrections, a first outline in ink, and then filling in the spaces to taste with my larger pens.

El día 3 (hoy) la palabra es "Runas" y aunque no recuerdo cómo dibujar manos no estoy dejando que eso me detenga de dibujar las poses que quiero; estoy decidida a resolver los dibujos omitiendo lo que no recuerde o "que no me salga" sin sacrificar el resto de detalles o anatomía que sí pueda dibujar.

Day 3 (today) the word is "Runes" and although I don't remember how to draw hands I'm not letting that stop me from drawing the poses I want; I'm determined to solve the drawings by omitting what I don't remember or "that doesn't come out" without sacrificing the rest of the details or anatomy that I can draw.

Encuentro que si lo pienso demasiado el proceso simplemente no fluye, parece que funciona bien para mi hacer algunos dibujos messy y luego en el proceso de delineado hacer descarte de lo que no me gusta, en lugar de corregir el boceto base hasta que "este perfecto".

I find that if I think about it too much the process just doesn't flow, it seems to work well for me to do some messy drawings and then in the outlining process make discards of what I don't like, rather than correcting the base sketch until "it's perfect.”
