Southern Ontario got a mid March winter blast that brought in several blizzards, one of my favorite times to hit the trails! So I hit the Bruce Trail in Ancaster Ontario and after only 20 minutes of walking, This gorgeous hawk swooped down and grabbed a mouse, right beside me (about 10 feet away). He flew to a tree branch and before I could even get my lens cap off, the mouse had been swallowed. But he was still sitting there, so I slowly walked closer and starting snapping photos.
I had the 18-55mm lens on, so I knew I would have to get really close and thankfully he stuck around for me to get within 15 feet, so cropping of the images was still needed but less than I would have expected to do.
Also tried some new editing styles with them, that I am pretty happy with. Do you like them?
