Finding a black-capped chickadee sitting relatively still is something I don't get to see very often. Most of the time I see them hopping from branch to branch, and it can be a test of patience trying to get a few sharp images of them. Maybe for once this bird had found the perfect perch and didn't need to keep looking, so it was content to just be in one spot near some food.
