This article is based on my opinion, but I hope it helps sway you one way or another!
The "one" thing that I am referring to would be a gas mask!! Now at the risk of sounding like a loon, I am going to give you my opinion on this subject.
Do I have one? Yes, I do have a gas mask! Because the truth behind it is "why not?" Why not have one of these laying around for the worst possible scenario? The main thing you have to think about here folks is; be prepared for whatever kind of scenario you can be with out breaking the bank.
With that being said there are some factors that you have to take into account with a gas mask:
- Does it fit you properly?
- Do you know how to use one?
- What kind of gas mask should you have?
Check your mask for proper fit, Make sure you know your size, learn how to get the proper seal with a mask, and do your research on types of gas masks.
I personally have a German M65 Gas Mask. I purchased this mask based on the outstanding reviews it received at the low price of $19.99. This is a surplus item. And I will be posting a video on how to use it this weekend, so keep an eye out!
The biggest question is, if I have a beard will a gas mask work? Traditionally; No, it will not get the proper seal. But I do have an experiment that I will be performing this weekend in the same video that may disprove the previous statement (hopefully). But until then, this is what I have for you on gas masks.
