This week we have been asked to talk about a very interesting and sensitive topic which is "Should every student learn a skill?" This topic is very interesting because I think every one who lives in the same country as me will have the same opinion as me, because I live in country where most graduates don't get work that allings with what they studied, most graduates don't even get work, they end up being jobless so having a skill or anything that you can do to earn you money is very important in my country.
I live in a country called Nigeria, and one thing about this country is that most graduates after finishing school tends not to see job, the number of graduates are more than the number of jobs available, so for you I get good and well paying job that allings with what you study in school, most of them need to have connection. That's why here we see most graduates that after graduation they can't find job o they begin to do other jobs just to feed themselves, they do P.O.S, labor work and many other jobs. So for me I feel like having or learning a skill is very important to students because it will help you a lot even when you get job after graduation. Wether it's a skill or not, anything that is side hustle and can make you money, it's very important to learn at least one of it as student. That's my opinion on this week's topic and I would love to hear yours.
