As we know last school year was a school year full of challenges and many adaptations for us, many of whom had to fulfill the role of teachers in our homes, in addition to the role of parents and I know that we all did it in the best way, but as we prepare for the next school year, it is important to think about those skills that we want to reinforce in our children.

Como sabemos el año escolar pasado fue un año escolar lleno de retos y muchas adaptaciones para nosotros, muchos de los cuales tuvimos que cumplir con el rol de maestros en nuestros hogares, además del rol de padres y sé que todos, lo hicimos de la mejor manera, pero mientras nos preparamos para el próximo año escolar, es importante pensar en esos conocimientos que queremos reforzar en nuestros hijos.

One of the things that we can continue to do to prepare our children at home and many of us may wonder what we are going to study if we are on vacation, well there are basic knowledge that undoubtedly we must reinforce as is the case of a good reading, this is undoubtedly a fundamental pillar for the acquisition of new knowledge, as well as analysis and meditation on everything that is read, so it is necessary to practice reading daily with our children, this will also help to improve their lexicon and reading comprehension.

Una de las cosas que podemos seguir haciendo es preparar a nuestros hijos en casa y muchos nos preguntaremos ¿qué vamos a estudiar si estamos de vacaciones? pues bien hay conocimientos básicos que sin duda debemos reforzar, como es el caso de una buena lectura, ésta es sin duda un pilar fundamental para la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos, así como el análisis y la meditación de todo lo que se lee, por lo que es necesario practicar la lectura diariamente con nuestros hijos, esto también ayudará a mejorar su léxico y comprensión lectora.

We must also work on spelling because without a doubt a good handwriting and writing without spelling mistakes is something that attracts a lot of attention, so we must review, as is the letter of our child, the management of punctuation marks and the correct use of writing, I remember the famous Palmer method, this can significantly help our children to improve their handwriting. Last but not least are the basic operations of mathematics, because they are very necessary when acquiring any mathematical knowledge, so we must review and reinforce the use of these operations such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, of course without forgetting the multiplication table.

También debemos trabajar la ortografía porque sin duda una buena letra y una escritura sin faltas de ortografía es algo que llama mucho la atención, por lo que debemos repasar, como es la letra de nuestro hijo, el manejo de los signos de puntuación y el uso correcto de la escritura, recuerdo el famoso método Palmer, esto puede ayudar notablemente a nuestros hijos a mejorar su letra. Por último y no menos importante están las operaciones básicas de las matemáticas, ya que son muy necesarias a la hora de adquirir cualquier conocimiento matemático, por lo que debemos repasar y reforzar el uso de estas operaciones como son: la suma, la resta, la multiplicación y la división, por supuesto sin olvidar la tabla de multiplicar.
