I was definitely in two minds because it was quite expensive for me. There are a lot of things I could buy with the amount needed for the event. However, I was very touched by my parents' suggestion...
Earlier today, I sent some money to one of my uncles because he's quite having a hard time financially. It pains me how his own family ignores him when he's troubled, but loves him when he had a lot of money. At first, he didn't want to receive my small help but I insisted. It's even Christmas and his family can continue without him on the occasion and just let him find ways to get on board again. Although disappointed, I don't have any reason to hate them... T_T
Going back, I told my parents about the amount I have to pay for the Meet and Greet. I really want to meet the cosplayers especially YUEGENE FAY. I have been admiring her for 4-5 years now. My mom told me, "Why are you asking us for permission. You have worked for it. Go and have fun!" And my dad said, "It was easy for you to give your uncle some money but you're having a hard time buying things for yourself."
Their messages made me really happy. Well, it won't really be a waste. I'm buying my happiness this time. Thank you mama and papa.. Thank you Steemit!
