Well Hello There Fellow Hivers!
IT"S WEDNESDAY MAH DUDES!
I know, I know it's like I have a fixation with the cold!
Mind you I actually do... 馃槀
Now once again for this Wintery Wednesday Walk I'll be sharing photos of the cold, yet again! Oh come on it looks beyond beautifull and it is very well breathtaking! There really isn't anything better than a lung full of ice cold air!
YEAH! The Betty won't agree with me at all though, but they do say that opposites attract right!
You see the thing is this, it's not that I don't feel the cold... I do... I feel it the same as anyone else BUT I do admire it.
Why?
Because why not? When you're all snuggled up in bed enjoying the heat, well then you are truely enjoying it! You wont enjoy it as much if it wasn't cold! Besides laying in bed on a cold winters morning, there's hardly anything more pleasing than that ey! Everything is just better in the winter... Hot chocolate, soup... cuddling with the Betty....
Everything!
It was one very, very cold winters morning and as life and luck would have it I had to go to work on that very icey day!
I'm sure I wasn't the only toad that had to go in and job for a boss.
None the less! Stepping outside froze me up instantly but I took that step forward and it was delightfull and beyond comparison to anything out there! Who wants the summer? That sweaty old stinking season filled with flies and mosquitos... Certainly not me, well unless I'm chilling next to the seaside!
Since we are all the way out of town (Not that far but far enough) we experience a colder cold than those living in the town.
When I came out of the house I saw that my car was frozen over and trust me that was some thick ice! Luckily I hitch hike a ride with my Old Pops. Otherwise I'd have been terribly late for work! That ice was almost three millimeters thick. Scraping it off with a bank card would have taken me ages!
Now smart technician me, I always throw a little blanky over the engine and more importantly the battery of my vehicle during the winters.
In truth it does really help, this battery of mine is around five years old and it's not even giving me a hint of trouble, where as to knowing how people replace battery's that are less than two years old.
A little out of the box thinking can take one so far in life, all you need to do is... well... think.
Oh stop bragging you.
The thing I really like about the winter might not be the cold at all it's how beautifull the world looks when it's all frozen up, I get the same feeling when it's mid summer and everything is in full blossom and each colour stand out above the next with the great green background of healthy fields.
The winter is slightly different of-course everything it's more dull than anything but being able to stare at the ice crystals formed on everything left outside really tickles my fancy. Why I don't know, perhaps I do enjoy the small things in life a lot more than I realize ey?
It might look like a road that doesn't have a lot to offer and well it doesn't really unless you find beauty in nature.
It's a simple road nothing much to it, but trust me when the cold hits even a little bit it turns into a majestic little place, especially so between summer and fall when the moisture sticks and blankets over everything.
One thing that really stands out for me is the insane amount of spider homes all across the road and normally you don't see them but when the water droplets sticks to them it really turns into one beautifull glaring road! It shines with every step you take... and there are a lot more spiders than we as humans think there are!

Look at me drifting from topic again...
Even the grass in the fields were all covered with ice, every last one of them!
You know what the coolest thing about that is? The crunching of the ice as you step over it! It really fascinates me even more than watching the ice on it, laughs real stupid I know but very well enjoyable.

I should get up a little earlier this weekend and set out to the fields with the big camera and see if I can't capture anything nice and detailed! The phone can only do so much when it comes to crispness!
