Letters I've written, never meaning to send
Probably go8ng to take a break for a couple of days in hospital again all blocked up again.
Good Morning
Fire and color in the morning sky are stunning, but the deep, moody blues bring something far more peaceful. These tranquil early mornings remind us that steady, quiet beginnings often lead to the strongest days. Wishing everyone a centered and productive day ahead!
Now, some may wonder about the title for this post; at this stage, I will just say there's a clue in that first paragraph!
As you know, I often go out well before sunrise, in the dark and then into the blue hour before sunrise, and some days the clouds just happen to be aligned to make for a gorgeous sunrise, but then on others they block out the sun almost completely, making for a longer blue hour, but I do find the morning blues beautiful as well and that doesn't stop me from taking photos.
Such as this one at the port, lovely shades of blue and some ripply reflections

And here I am at the pier by the boat ramp, again some lovely blues and such a calming feeling to be out in.

The Morning I took this I was walking out towards Palmer Island and liked this view and the transition in the sky from blues to softer, warmer pastel tones.

And I think this is at Jones Beach in Dartmouth; it was quite dark at this stage, so a longer exposure, which caught some motion in the clouds, giving a kind of surreal feel to the sky, I think.

And as for the title, that's a line from the song Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues, and these photos made me think of the Moody Blues as I was preparing this post
