Last Post of the Year

Well the end of the year is fast approaching for us here and for many is already here, so first off wishing off all a Very Happy and Healthy New Year.
Today I worked I do love these days as it is so quiet both on the trains and in the office.

Being the last day of the year it did dawn on me, well not dawn on me but make me think that my retirement is now just two months away, so I was checking through my list of things i need to do before I retire and made a checklist with dates of the various things I have to do, the thought of retiring is a mixed bag at the moment excited to be finishing work for the most part, but every now and again the What the heck have I done slips into my mind LOL

I did take a little stroll mid-morning and after lunch to get some steps in and will share a few random shots on these walks

But before Starting with my shots from today's walk, I will start with a shot taken A week or two ago when passing through Grand Central, which I thought was kind of fitting since approaching midnight tonight people will be clock watching for the change of year and decade, the clock in the main concourse of the terminal, from a different angle from my previous shots of it and I quite like how this turned out

I noticed this new Barber shop on second ave this morning and the fact it was open at 7AM, I may well try this place it next time i need a haircut as it is very close to the office

I did say random shots on todays walk and you will see what I mean, from a Barber shop to a sidewalk cart for bagels coffee and such

And another sidewalk stall selling a variety of fruits and veges
