a few more light trails
Good morning, one thing i love catching is light trails, both from car lights or painted with light painting tools which I have just got back into, but for this post i am focused on light trails found out on the streets.
Starting with shot of the New Bedford Fairhaven bridge catching the red light trails on the barriers blocking the road as they opened up

Of course with light trails a tripod is needed and a long exposure, but with those if you bump the tripod or forget your taking a long exposure and move it you can get some funky effects most I delete, not that I forget i am taking one often, but this one was actually because I was standing in the wrong spot and asked to move back from the bridge behind the barrier and i kind of like the effect

this is downtown by the port, the white trails are from headlights of cars heading towards me, and the red lights cars travelling away from me

this shot is from on top of the Elm Street Parking garage it was a greyish misty morning and I was trying for a mooody shot looking out to the port and got the bonus of a light trail as I car drove down the street

And this last one a bit different as I was taking a shot of this pier a commercial fishing boat came by and its lights gave a real cool effect on the water
